Mike Walsh - President
Mike Walsh has been employed in the steel industry for over 30 years. Before building Centric Alloys, he held the position of Executive Vice President for UGITECH USA. After nearly a 20 year run with Ugine Stainless and Ugitech, Mike chose to not relocate and formed Centric Alloys based on a partnership at the time with ArcelorMittal prior to the creation of Aperam Alloys. Mike's primary goal upon starting Centric Alloys was to contribute to the success of his customers - and therefore the company and mill partners - by employing a dynamic, knowledgeable, and highly experienced staff that believes in dedicating themselves to his customer centered philosophy.
Mike Gootman - Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Mike Gootman has been employed as a Metallurgical Engineer for more than 36 years. He has experience in both manufacturing (as a Plant Metallurgist and Laboratory Supervisor) and distribution (Manager Technical Services) environments, and brings a wealth of product knowledge and technical knowhow to the company. Mike is a detailed oriented person who is skilled at providing practical answers and solutions.
